ATwow

Acoustically Transparent Wow is a unique knitted image surface supporting reference acoustical and visual performance with maximum contrast. ATwow is a dual layer image surface made up of a single white front surface mounted over black backing which minimises black levels while maintaining crisp whites and consistent response across the entire rec2020 light spectrum.

Available on screen heights up to 3.0m.

Surface structure indistinguishable from approximately 0.4m.

ATpop

Acoustically Transparent Pop is a unique knitted image surface supporting reference acoustical and visual performance with maximum brightness. ATpop is a dual layer image surface made up of a white front surface mounted over an identical white backing which maximises brightness while maintaining good black levels and consistent response across the entire rec2020 light spectrum.

Available on screen heights up to 3.0m.

Gain: 1.2
EQ Curve: Tilt +2.0dB from 2kHz to 20kHz for dual layers
Surface structure indistinguishable from approximately 0.4m.

ATpop does not include black backing so the area behind the screen must be a dark matt finish.

AT-XXL

Acoustically Transparent XXL is a knitted image surface supporting reference acoustical and visual performance in very large systems. AT-XXL is a single layer image surface with white front surface delivering balanced performance for both brightness and contrast and consistent response across the entire rec202 light spectrum.

Available on screen heights up to 4.5m.

EQ Curve: Tilt +2.0dB from 2kHz to 20kHz
Surface structure indistinguishable from approximately 2.0m.

AT-XXL does not include black backing so the area behind the screen must be a dark matt finish.

AT-MASK

Acoustically Transparent Mask is a knitted fabric specifically designed for dimensional stability which is used for the masking panels on all Dynamic series screens.

AT-MASK is a single layer fabric in deep black to maximise the contrast of the image regardless of the choice of image surface.

Hardware

MASK POSITION LOGIC

DT Screens Mask Position Logic is a combination of technologies for easy and accurate masking. The screen masking control system is factory programmed with the width, height and masking configuration of the screen.

A special sensor accurately measures the position of the mask bars and reports that to the screen masking control system which uses that data to precisely position the masks at any aspect ratio from 1.33 to 2.76:1 depending on the masking configuration.

WHISPERTEC MOTOR

DT Screens unique WhisperTec motors have been designed specifically for our Dynamic series. Each heavy-duty motor runs at less than 30dB for smooth and quiet operation for the lifetime of the screen.

FRONT LOADING IMAGE SURFACE

All DT Screens image surfaces are mounted from the front and only once the screen is securely attached to the wall.

VEBLACK MAGNETIC FRONT FRAME

DT Screens Frontier and Dynamic series feature magnetically mounted front frames clad in our veBlack light absorbing material. The magnetic front frames mount after the image surface enabling easy installation and removing the need to install these elements until the very end of the project.

SILENT GLIDE LINEAR MASK BEARINGS

Dynamic series masks are mounted securely to silent and smooth running linear bearings. This ensures the quietest and most accurate masking solution possible with no judder or loss of mask alignment.

CONSTANT TENSION MASK SYSTEM

Dynamic series masks are pulled towards the center of the screen using our innovative constant tension system. Each end of the masking bar has exactly equal force applied to it ensuring no loss of mask alignment and easing the work of the WhisperTec Motors.

FLOATING ANTI-JAM MASK BAR

Dynamic series use a special mask bar that is designed to avoid flex whilst remaining compact. This mask bar is fitted to a 3D printed mounting interface which allows the bar to float. Critically, this allows the mask bar to easily self adjust for best motion avoiding judder and loss of alignment.
