In the Meridian Audio demonstration Lounge, the aim was to create a space that was more like a living room areas. That meant having to work with the traditional living room compromises of light coloured walls, heavily offset projector placement and a high light environment.
ATpop was the obvious screen choice in this location. Measuring in at 1.2 gain, it is the only high gain knitted acoustically transparent on the market and designed to boost the image brightness of the projector. ATpop is ideal for high ambient light environments or larger screen sizes on lower light output projectors.
With the same high fidelity acoustical performance as ATwow, the DSP640.2 only need to be installed without the grilles fitted and they sing with the same clarity and precision as they would do without a screen in front of them.
When you combine the stunning acoustical performance with the super bright image from the Medea, you have a picture that looks amazing even with the lights on!
Speaking of the image, how on earth did it make it onto the screen?! The DT-VMM-UP is an ingenious solution to regularly occurring projection placement issues. As most modern laser projectors are liquid cooled, they are able to be vertically mounted. By using a large, optical grade mirror with over 97% reflectivity and the Barco Residential warp engine, Display Technologies will have a solution for pretty much any installation that would traditionally rule out the use of a projector.
Seeing is believing and visitors of the Meridian Lounge are left astounded by the results!
